High Street Style City Wedding

Not all of us can afford the big bucks wedding or just don't want to spend that sort of money. So where do you start? Having looked on many wedding blogs over the last couple of years I have come to find that many of the really stand out weddings that I love turn out to be the lesser budget ones and the bride has worn some killer stunning dress that was either a vintage find in a charity shop or a very clever shop on the high street.
Here is my look I have put together for a City Chic Wedding that you can buy on the Internet or on the High Street getting an expensive look for not a lot of dosh!

An elegant chiffon champagne 1950's inspired dress from LK Bennett this moves so beautifully and at £225.00 it is a steal.
Full length sleeve lace style cream bolero adds a touch of detail to this plain but stylish dress and is great to cover up your upper arms if you hate them like I do Monsoon £75.00.
These glamourous peep toe champagne platform shoes are perfect for this look and can be worn again unlike some wedding shoes Reiss £139.00.
To keep this look simple I didn't want to add lots of jewellery so this hair band gives just enough sparkle made from swarovski crystal in a floral garland style N.O.T.H.S £165.00

Suits can be expensive to buy so it's worth investing in one that can be worn again.

Reiss menswear has a reputation for having up to the minute style with quality that will last. This wool/mohair suit from their autumn winter collection has a classic style jacket with a notch lapel in this bright blue brings it on trend £495.00.
With a classic white shirt you can add a bit of fun with this grey dotty bow tie from Topman £10.00.
To finish off the look I have selected these grey leather brogues from ASOS £75.00.

Bridesmaids dresses don't have to come from a traditional bridal shop the high street is full of great dresses that your bridesmaids might actually wear again

This graphite coloured halter neck dress with pleated skirt is modern and elegant Reiss £189.00.
Kurt Geiger always do amazing shoes and their Miss KG range has all the style but for a more buget friendly price metallic peep toe heels with bow detail £70.00.
I really love feathers and this alice band from Monsoon is the perfect colour with metallic chain detailing £16.00.

Next up is High Street Style Country Wedding
