To wear or not To wear........

So for the last couple of weeks I have been frantically trying to decide what to wear for our weekend away in Paris. The chic beautiful Parisian ladies I have no way to compete with but I also don't want to look like a typical brit on holiday.
I am also a nightmare packer I ram my very large suit case full of shoes I never wear and clothes that worked together in the uk but on my holiday I hate with a passion.
I have been given strict instructions that I can only take our small suit case and Guy even suggested us sharing it!!! with a chuckle and a look to say you were joking right?!! he is now using his Paul smith weekend bag that I gave him as a wedding gift.
So what the hell I am going to wear? Men don't seem to understand the dilemma's us ladies have to go through. I have tried to explain that there are many factors that you have to plan for when picking a wardrobe.
What is the weather going to be like?, if it is raining then satin or suede ballet pumps are a no no and what about a coat?
Will lots of walking be involved?, if so then sky high stiletto sandals will be agony.
Will we be eating out anywhere posh? if so which dress to take?
Do I take the jeans that I can wear with flats or the ones that I can only wear with wedge heels?

So after much thinking and constantly checking on weather forecasts I have finally put together what I am planning to take (I can not guarantee that come Thursday night when the suitcase is out that I might have a last minute rethink!!)

I am taking
1. Boot cut dark denim jeans (from Debenhams)
2. White shirt (from H&M)
3. Black T-shirt (from ASOS)
4. Blue and white dotty play suit (from Henry Holland)
5. Light pink linen blazer (from H&M)
6. Light pink vest top (from H&M)
7. Navy dress (from H&M)
8. Beige shorts (from H&M)
9. Black/white skull Alexander McQueen scarf
10. Black wedge heel espadrilles (from LKBennett)
11. Black ballet pumps (from Next)
12. black and gold thong sandals (from John Lewis)
13. BLack leather Mitzy Hobo bag (from Mulberry)
14. Gold twisted bracelet (from Oasis)

Parisian Love

This time next week Guy and I will be in romantic Paris
to celebrate our first year of marriage. I am so looking forward to it I have only been to Paris once and that was only for an hour where I was able to go up the Eiffel tower.

I can't believe it will be a year since we were married, time has gone so fast although so much has happened in this last year. I am glad to say I think marriage has made us closer which I never thought it would. I really want to have a boat trip, see Notre Dame, and Versailles is on the top of my list as I have a bit of an obsession with Marie Antoinette. I want to have dinner in a old fashion bistro, drink champagne outside a little chic cafe at lunch time, dance outside the Moulin Rouge and rummage through the flea markets.
I hope to come back with lots of photographs to share with you and please let me know if you have any recommendations of things to do in Paris

The curve of fashion

Clothes by Asos curve and H & M BiB

Being a lady with curves and a lover of fashion I am always excited to see companies that cater for this. Just because I have curves it doesn't mean I want to wear unfashionable clothes I still want to try the latest trends obviously the body con and tube skirt look isn't worth me trying! but there is plenty of other looks I want to wear.

It is very hard on the high street to find larger sizes as most of the high street retailers say they do up to a size 16 but when you actually go into the shops the rails are stacked full of 10's and 12's. I know we can shop on the Internet which I do but I love the thrill of shopping and I want to try the items on straight away without the hassle of having to send things back or order several sizes as I'm not sure which size will fit. I'm a huge fan of H&M they normally have a large range of sizes and they have their dedicated larger size collection called BiB.  ASOS is another favourite and they now do their Curve collection for sizes 20-26 and it is full of stunning trendy clothes.

Let me know if you have found any little gems that look fab on the curvier lady
